At the moment, my in-clinic appointments are near capacity. In order to honour the depth of work I do and give my existing clients the presence and care they deserve, I have limited new face-to-face sessions. However, I do currently have availability for telehealth appointments.

If you would like to be contacted when an in-clinic space becomes available—please click here to register your interest (estimation of 4-8 weeks before appointments are available).

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

You have spent so much of your life pushing through, holding it all together, and feeling unseen in your pain—but deep down, you long for a space where you do not have to explain, justify, or hide what you have been carrying.

Individual Counselling

Living with chronic pain, chronic illness, or the effects of trauma can be an overwhelming and isolating experience. When your body carries pain or illness, or your mind is weighed down by past experiences, it can feel as though no one truly understands what you are going through.

I offer a space where you do not have to minimise your experience or pretend to be okay. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and grounded in both professional expertise and personal understanding.

The first time we meet, I will learn from you about what has happened to you, and how you are experiencing this in your mind, body and interactions. You will be provided with strategies to support the areas you have identified as concerns and receive a summary email after our session. This summary means you don’t have to focus on anything but being present in the session and should take away the stress of remembering what was discussed.

Supporting a Partner or Family Member Through Trauma, Chronic Illness or Chronic Pain

When someone you love is living with trauma, chronic illness, or chronic pain, it can be hard to know how best to support them. You might feel helpless, shut out, overwhelmed, or unsure what to say—or how to care for yourself in the process.

I offer limited support sessions for partners of people who are already working with me in individual therapy. These sessions are not couples counselling. They are a brief, focused space to help you understand what your partner is navigating, why certain behaviours might be showing up, and how you can support connection and safety without taking on the role of therapist, fixer, or rescuer.

Together, we gently explore the impact of trauma or chronic illness on relationships, nervous system responses, and common protective patterns like withdrawing, caretaking, or becoming reactive. You will gain tools to support your partner in a way that respects their healing process—and your own boundaries.

These sessions are about increasing understanding, not assigning blame or resolving relationship issues. They offer a chance to meet the moment with more clarity, steadiness, and compassion—for both of you.

Health Advocacy and Support

I understand how frustrating it can be when doctors dismiss or invalidate your symptoms - These sessions are flexible and designed to change this.

I believe you are the expert on your body. Together, we will create a comprehensive map of your symptoms, documented in a clear and concise report that you can present to your general practitioner.

The report is written using medical language, ensuring doctors listen, validate, and make appropriate referrals to support your health. This approach aims to break down barriers to diagnosis, facilitating more accurate and timely medical care.

There is also an option to have me present on the phone during the appointment to provide additional advocacy and support. Before this phone call, we discuss your concerns and questions. During the phone call, I will take notes and support you to regulate if you feel overwhelmed. I will also remind you if you have forgotten any of the questions you were hoping to ask. After the phone call, you will receive a summary of your medical appointment.

My goal is to support you in navigating the healthcare system with confidence and clarity, so your needs are heard and addressed effectively.
